GIRL AGAINST THE JUNGLE by XAVI MARTÍNEZ

The book tells us the true story of a girl called Suzanne.



Suzanne and her mother were returning home in Christmas to meet with his father and her pet called Pépé.



The plane where they were flying crashed in a storm. Suzanne survived but her mother died.



In the accident of the plane her left foot had a cut and her head had a lump. In these conditions Suzanne had to walk during ten days in the jungle until meet people and help her.



In the jungle Suzanne used the river like a street of a town. She thought that walking near the river she wasn’t going to be lost.



For walking she used a stick and followed the river course. She had to avoid a lot of danger situations like big animals, insects, hot and storms. When she was walking near the river found a boat and a house where people meet her.

She was very sick but she could heal and meet her father.

JOURNEY TO THE CENTRE OF THE EARTH by DANIEL FERNÁNDEZ

THE LOST WORLD by CARLA DÍAZ

A boy, that was an apprentice of science, goes to the office of a man that was very RUDE with the journalists. The boy heard the story of the “crazy man”, that said that he saw dinosaurs. The boy told his boss and organize a party to say which men was going to that trip. When they arrived to that land, they knew that the crazy man wasn’t going to that trip, but the crazy man arrived there. They camped, slept, ate… And saw dinosaurs!!! As well they saved to a tribe of natives in there from the dinosaurs. When they arrived at home, with the journalists, nobody couldn’t believe them but it was true.

HARRY’S HOLIDAY by ELENA CÍSCAR

Harry was a young boy who was a carer of his mother who had arthritis. They loved watching Arsenal games together. His father worked on the ships and was never at home. Harry´s best friend, Tom, found an advert in a magazine about winning a holiday to Spain for writing 500 words. Harry wanted to win this holiday for his mother. After he won, he found out that the whole vacation wasn’t free. When his school heard the news, they wanted to help Harry. Tom wrote a great story about Harry’s family on the school website. His story reached many people with the same situation. His story was so inspiring, his luck started to change. He went on a vacation to Spain with his parents. His father had a new job and was living at home again. His mother had a new carer to help her. Finally, Harry had received two Arsenal season tickets where he and Tom would be able to go to all the games and meets the players.

PROJECT OMEGA by FERRAN CASAÑ

Charles Hafiel Baker 3 was a rich person who gave a multimillionaire company, but one day he disappears and his daughter, Julia,
takes the control of the company doing some changes mainly to help poor people. One day she discovers a folder called PROJECT OMEGA. Suddenly she discovers that the company wants to get bigger and with more power and somebody wants to kill her. She almost died in an elevator but a person saved her so they became friends.

PRESIDENT OF THE WHOLE FIFTH GRADE by ALEJANDRA CARDONA

Briana Justice is a student of fifth grade in Orchard Park Elementary. Her dream is to be the president of the whole fifth grade and to become a famous and millionaire cupcake baker as her hero, Miss Delicious, who also grew up in Orchard Park.



She, together with her three best friends, had been preparing the campaign to be president all the summer. They thought it was not going to be difficult because she was very popular, but everything changed the first day of school when a new girl called Jasmine Moon arrived and decided that she also wanted to be president.

Briana was a very good girl but as it was so important for her to win the elections so she forgot that the most important was to count with her friends and do a clean campaign. A lot of adventures are lived during the course until, fortunately, she realizes that the best way to win the elections is to be helped by friends and family and to think in how she can help other people. That is why, at the end, she is elected as President of the Whole Fifth Grade.
