THE LOST WORLD by GERARD ESTRUCH

One day, Challenger proposed Edward to go with him and two more men to prove that the dinosaurs existed. One week later, the journey started. When they arrived to Manaos, Edward recognized the Plateau from the drawings of Challenger. Suddenly, they listened a noise behind the camp they had just made. It was a pterodactyl!

The next day, they went to a cave to see if there was a way to pass to the Plateau. Challenger had an idea, they could break a tree and use it as a bridge. After they passed to the Plateau, the tree broke. They were now prisoners of the lost world! They made another camp there and went to explore. When Edward came back to the camp he realised it was empty. The following day, Edward and Roxhton decided to go and rescue their friends from the ape-people. Once they were all back together, Motosawi gave them a map to escape from the lost world. They finally achieved it.

Back in London Challenger took out from his bag a baby pterodactyl. All the people were excited until the pterodactyl escaped from the zoologist. The following day, Roxhton invited Edward, Summelee and Challenger to have lunch at his house and Roxhton told them that when he was exploring, he took diamonds and he wanted to share 50 thousand with each one.
